Robert Rosen, MD FACS
Dr. Rosen is board-certified in general surgery and he excels in advanced laparoscopic surgery for breast diseases, advanced hernia repair, stomach, small bowel and colon resections for benign or malignant disease, and removal of spleen, colon and gallbladder among other procedures. He has been practicing general surgery in Chicago since 1988.
He attended Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and he did his surgical residency and training at Michael Reese Hospital. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Illinois and Chicago Medical Association, the American Society of General Surgeons. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Surgery Department of the University of Chicago School of Medicine. He is on staff at NorthShore University HealthSystem, Advocate Lutheran General and the NorthShore Surgical Center.
Dr. Rosen has been married for over 30 years and has three children. He enjoys his free time as medical director at Camp Chi in Wisconsin and playing golf.
