Peter Misurec, MD FACS

Dr. Peter Misurec is board-certified by the American Board of Urology. In addition, he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). 

Dr. Misurec received his medical degree from the University of the East, College of Medicine, Quezon City, Philippines. He completed his general surgery internship and urology residency at the University of Illinois-Chicago Medical Center. He has been in private practice since 1984, as a partner with Suburban Urology in Berwyn.

He has performed thousands of procedures, ranging from office-based diagnostic procedures to vasectomy to the most complicated prostate, kidney, and testicular cancer resections. He has special expertise in the treatment of kidney stones, urinary incontinence, prostate cancer, and infertility. As a result of his exemplary patient care, he has built one of the busiest practices in the region. Local physicians, nurses, and their families consistently see him for their own urological care. 

Dr. Misurec is a lifelong resident of Berwyn and enjoys traveling in the United States.
