Elizabeth Birnbaum, PA-C

Liza Birnbaum, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in urologic surgical oncology. She provides comprehensive medical care to patients undergoing complex urologic procedures, supporting them from initial in-office consultation through postoperative recovery. She is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care while ensuring patients and families feel informed and supported.

Liza earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Miami University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a co-major in Premedical Studies. During her undergraduate training, she was a Division I student-athlete and was a Team USA athlete for seven years. Her background in high-performance athletics cultivated discipline, resilience, and teamwork—qualities she brings to both patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Associates and the Illinois Academy of Physician Associates. Liza is also involved with the Israel Cancer Research Fund, reflecting her commitment to advancing cancer research and supporting innovation in oncologic care. She values precision, communication, and advocacy, and is dedicated to advancing high-quality patient care with compassion and integrity.
