Dr. Robert Zimmerman is Board Certified in Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He practices all aspects of adult urology.
Dr. Zimmerman graduated from the Rosalind Franklin University/Chicago Medical School in 1976, upon graduation he set up his urology practice in Oak Park, IL. He is affiliated with McNeal Hospital, Rush Oak Park Hospital, and West Suburban Medical Center.
His clinical interests are focused on the accurate diagnosis and minimally invasive treatment of prostate and kidney cancers. An experienced Urologic Surgeon, Dr. Zimmerman is committed to providing personalized, tailored treatments of urological cancers by balancing treatment with quality of life.
Dr. Zimmerman has extensive experience and expertise in both prostate and kidney cancers and favors minimally invasive surgical procedures in dealing with all types of urologic disease. His main focus is to return you to a normal and healthy life as soon as possible.
With over 40 years in private practice, he is also well versed in the treatment of all female urologic problems, and as well as with diseases of the prostate, being able to treat most of these issues with in office procedures.
